Ringelspiel happens once a year in Boyd.
This year is no different. Bringing residents and visitors together in a festive atmosphere, the annual celebration includes the crowning of Miss Boyd, due to take place this year after bingo on Saturday, May 23 at approximately 1:30 p.m. With more Ringelspiel details still to come, these are the candidates for the Miss Boyd contest this year, which will include Little Miss Boyd and Jr. Miss Boyd in addition to Miss Boyd.
With that said, these are the candidates this year’s Miss Boyd contest!
Little Miss Boyd
Elle Steinhorst
Elle Steinhorst is a third grader attending Stanley-Boyd elementary, she enjoys playing with her siblings, Carter and Logan, doing makeup, 4-wheeling and going for bike rides. When she’s older she wants to run for Miss Boyd.
Lydia Hakes
Lydia Hakes is a fourth grader attending Stanley Boyd elementary, enjoys swimming and roller blading. She has three siblings, Michaela, Conner and Adian. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
Jr. Miss Boyd

Michaela Hakes is a seventh grader at Stanley-Boyd middle school who will be Jr. Miss Boyd this year. she enjoys softball and volleyball. Her siblings are Conner, Lydia, and Adian. She wants to be a kindergarten teacher when she grows up.
Miss Boyd
Skylar Gohde
Last but not least Miss Boyd 2026 will be last year’s princess, Skylar Gohde. She is a junior at Stanley Boyd high and has two brothers and one sister. She enjoys FFA, drama club, and volleyball. She participated in all events in the Boyd community last year with her title and plans to continue that in her new role. Skylar wants to join the U.S. Navy and become an actress.
Known as “The Friendly Town,” Boyd is located on State Highway 29, just east of Chippewa Falls. Ringelspiel is held each year over Memorial Day Weekend. With fun for the whole family, make plans to stop on by this year.
