The Miss Stanley Royalty program is getting a makeover! It is with great pleasure that the Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce and the coordinators of the royalty program have expanded the program to include Jr. Miss and Little Miss to the float this year. Positions to be filled are Miss Stanley, 1st Princess & 2nd Princess. Jr Miss Stanley along with 2 Jr. Princesses and Little Miss Stanley with 2 little Princesses. There are also a few other additions coming this summer including a Coronation held at The Stanley Movie Theater on Thursday June 15th at 6pm. The pageant will include a presentation of the 2023 Parade Grand Marshall. The candidates met in April at the Spring Kick off meeting where the candidates were met with their first task of selling raffle tickets! Tickets are being sold now until June 13th for $1.00 each with cash prizes for the raffle winners. Throughout their reign the girls will travel to visiting towns to encourage tourism to the Stanley area and have appearances at events in our community. We are thrilled this year to have some wonderful sponsors including the Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce, The Stanley Republican, Stanley Movie Theater, Martino’s Restaurant, Stanley VFW and Stanley Legion.
