The Boyd-Edson-Delmar Fire Station recently received a practical and much-needed upgrade: new custom cabinetry installed in the station’s kitchen area. The $4,000 project was made possible thanks to generous donations from local businesses and families who stepped up to support the department.
The cabinets were crafted and installed by Red Wing Custom Cabinets of Boyd, Wisconsin, and funded through contributions from: The Close Family (in memory of Gary Close), Ken Gerrits of Gerrits Construction, Martin Sauder of Sauder Sheds, Jeff Ryba of Honey Do Maintenance LLC, Greg and Shelly Gindt, Ryan Eslinger, Tom and Peggy Kluck, Ron and Sheila Patten, Shawn Stuttgen of Stuttgen Construction, and Joshua and Casey Walters of Tru Touch of Beauty.
The upgrade not only enhances the station’s functionality but also reflects the strong community spirit that supports local first responders-the men and women who give so much of themselves, and who stand ready to lay down their lives in service to others.
