Lublin, Wisconsin has a new village treasurer. Lana Knox was hired following a closed session with interviews under Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c) on Thursday, April 9 at Lublin. Knox comes to her new post having previous experience as a treasurer for the Town of Taft. The treasurer position at Lublin is appointed, with Knox taking over treasurer duties at Lublin following the passing of former treasurer Patricia Siudak, who died Feb. 11.
Also at Lublin, meanwhile, the village board is currently accepting applications for an open trustee position, after President Randy Madlon sold his property in October, leaving trustee Christine Nowak as village president in Madlon’s place. Those interested in serving as a village trustee at Lublin must be a village resident and submit their resume with letter of recommendation to the village hall by April 24.
Lublin Village Board meetings are held on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in the village hall. The next village board meeting at Lublin is on May 5.
