In order to put on a better light show for residents this holiday season, the Stanley-Boyd National Honor Society (NHS) is making another plea for donations of lights, after squirrels mistook some lights for acorns while others were still frozen when taken down, thus impacting supply. So how does one go about donating? NHS advisor Polly Hoffman had more to share on fulfilling the urgent light need.
“We will be there on Saturday from 9 – noon,” she said of when the NHS will be decorating the Chapman Park Campground. As such, residents “can drop lights by the greenhouse at the school and we will get them inside, or they can drop them at the park behind the bathroom wall with our other items before Saturday morning,” Hoffman said.
