CITY OF STANLEY REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL August 2, 2021 AT 7:00P.M.

Mayor Al Haas presiding.

On roll call, Al Haas, Rick Hodowanic, Mark Fitzsimmons, Jason Meyer, Kevin Hendrickson, Mike Henke, Jacob Huff, Laurie Foster, and Holly Kitchell.

Others Present: Nicole Thiel (Clerk), Lance Weiland (Police Chief), Stanley Republican, Lori Cooley, Jeff Ryba, Gerry Heiting th A motion was made by Huff, seconded by Foster to approve July 19 , 2021 Council agenda, striking Item 8. Voice vote. All ayes with Hendrickson absent. Motion carried.

Presentation of the concerns from the Public present: None The Common Council utilizing a single vote may act upon the following items. Individual items, which any member wishes to address in greater detail or as a separate item, may be removed upon the request of any council member.

a) Approve the July 13, 2021 Public Works/Zoning Committee minutes.

b) Approve the July 19, 2021 Common Council minutes.

c) Approve the July 19, 2021 Committee as a Whole minutes.

d) Review the Bi-Monthly reports from the Water/Wastewater/ Public Works/Police/Fire/ Clerk.

e) Approve/Disapprove Operator License for Ruby J. Launderville.

f) Approve/Disapprove Operator License for Hannah M. Schley.

g) Approve Street Use Request Application for Reclaimed Tavern for closure of E 4th Ave from Broadway to Emery on August 22, 2021 from 1pm to 4pm for a car show.

h) Approve attendance of John Hoel and Jacob Lukes to the Northwoods Collection System Seminar to be held in Marshfield on September 9,

2021 at the cost of $40 per person.

i) Approve attendance of Nicholas Martin to the WWOA 2021 Conference to be held in La Crosse, WI on October 5-October 8, 2021 at the cost of $230 for the conference and $119 per night for hotel.

Thiel mentioned that letter E had been denied by PD, and item G was approved by Korey in the office on Monday after noon.

Hodowanic provided an update on well 10 due to Don being out on leave.

Meyer had a question on item d in relation to ADM phosphorus levels. Their discharge is against our permits and or- dinances, which causes fine

to be assessed. Wastewater is working with ADM to correct the issues.

A motion was made by Foster, seconded by Kitchell to disapprove item E and approve items A-D and F-I. Voice vote. All ayes with Hendrickson absent. Motion carried.

th A motion was made by Fitzsimmons, seconded by Foster to approve the accounts payable checks for July 19 , 2021. Roll call vote. All Ayes with Hendrickson absent. Motion carried. New Business: None At 7:19 P.M. a motion was made by Foster, seconded Kitchell to adjourn. Voice vote. All Ayes. Motion carried.
