"We ran against a lot of our Conference rivals on Friday night.  The girls will have to PR a lot to be competitive.  We know what events we have a chance of winning and we will focus on our best events and try to place well as a team.  Fall Creek seems to once again be the favorite,” Coach Seidl said.

As to the boys, they faced their toughest competition of the season at Cadott, with the following results:

Simon Polman placed 4th in the 100 m dash with a time of 11.41.  "He ran really well but the sprinters from Regis were just that much faster,” Coach Seidl said.

"We knew this was our one-time chance to break these records because next week we will run trials in the sprints.  Sprint coach Travis Schindler has been working with the sprinters and the boys were eager to make those records fall.  It's a big accomplishment, especially to break both in the same meet. "

Switching to the boy’s high jump, Cameron Kohls jumped 5'8" and narrowly missed 5-10 to capture 2nd place. "He has been working on his take off and form all week,” Seidl said.”  Zack Boes placed 6th in the high jump with 5-6, also taking first place in the pole vault with a vault of 13-0. Lastly, Robert Poole threw 120-9 for 3rd place

“We had some great performances at the Cadott meet, but we'll have to have a great night on Tuesday, May 16th to defeat Fall Creek.  They have a bigger boys team, but at conference all teams are limited to 28 total individual entries and that favors our boys team.  We'll have to see if the guys want the title bad enough."  Fall Creek is picked as the favorite. “
