STANLEY-BOYD Police Reports
April 24 1:04 p.m.
Taylor County Sheriu's Ovce request ed contact be made with an individual concerning a child custody complaint. Contact was made and the individual’s further contact with the Taylor County deputy facilitated.
9:51 p.m. Stanley Police were called to the 100 block fo west Fourth Avenue for a fire alarm Upon arrival, it was determined to be a faulty bathroom heater and it was turned ou for the remainder of the night.
April 25 10:45 a.m. Stanley Police were advised of an animal running at large. The owner was warned.
April 26 6:46 p.m.
Stanley Police received a travc com plaint involving a blue semi deviating from its land while traveling eastbound from mile marker 93. Vehicle matching the description observed and followed, with no violation observed.
11:21 p.m. Stanley Police received a suspicious vehicle complaint. Area checked and vehicle located.
April 27 12:21 p.m. Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce re quested assistance with a check person complaint in the Village of Boyd. Provided assistance until no longer needed.
4:48 p.m. Thorp Police requested assistance with someone who was extremely intoxicated and was making self-harm statements. Upon arrival Thorp EMS and police de- partment stau were already in contact with the person who was later transported to Aspirus Hospital in Stanley for further medical care. Ovcer stood by until no longer needed.
April 28 7:59 a.m.
Vehicle lockout. Vehicle waiver filled out and the vehicle was unlocked without incident.
8:20 a.m.
Clark County Sheriu's Ovce request ed assistance with a domestic disturbance in progress that involved multiple people. Upon arrival, parties were separated and no one was found armed or in possession of dangerous weapons. Ovcer stood by with Clark County personnel until no longer needed.
April 29 4:41 p.m. Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. The vehicle was stopped, with operator Keith Gollon, age 47, being cited for speeding.
April 30 2:43 a.m. Stanley Police were requested to as- sist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce with a travc stop near Boyd.
7:46 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for an active commercial alarm. Ovcer respond ed and determined it was a false alarm.
9:01 p.m. Police were requested for a miscellaneous complaint at the motel.
May 1 2:14 a.m. Stanley Ovce Trey and handler were requested to assist the Chippewa Falls Po- lice Department with a travc stop in Chip pewa Falls.
5:45 a.m. Police were requested for a 911 hangup complaint.
10:18 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for a hit and run accident. Report taken, incident under investigation.
May 2 10:06 a.m. Fire call. Smoke reported from a light fixture. Ovcer stood by until no longer needed. 12:18 p.m.
Group home complaint. Owner advised that an 18-year-old client was refusing to go to school. The person’s guardian was contacted and they advised it was okay for the person to miss class that day.
1:27 p.m.
Vehicle lockout from Barber Street ad- dress. Waiver form filled out and vehicle was unlocked without incident.
2:03 p.m. A man contacted the Stanley Police Department to request a welfare check on his three-year-old daughter and ex-wife. Phone contact was made with a family member who stated that the -wife and daughter no longer resided in the City of Stanley. A phone message was left with the caller advising him of department find ings.
2:27 p.m. Ovcer assisted Stanley Fire/First re sponders with a person who injured their ankle while on a roof. Patient was able to climb down without assistance.
6:37 p.m. Stanley Police were called to the 900 block of Emery Street for a case involving a young person. Investigation showed that the incident had taken place in the City of Bloomer, with the caller advised to contact Bloomer Police.
May 3 8:18 a.m. Two dogs running at large in the park- ing lot of A and W. Owner was identified and later responded to the area to retrieve the dogs without incident.
11:33 a.m. Efrain Gonzalez Hernandez, age 32, arrested for Clark County warrants and cited for operating without a valid driver’s license and no motor vehicle insurance.
2:52 p.m. A woman and her young son arrived at the police department to have injuries documented as part of an investigation from another jurisdiction.
9:05 p.m. Stanley Police were called to the 400 block of West Maple Street for a 911 open line. The area was checked and everything appeared to be ok.
10:05 p.m. Stanley Police were called to a travc complaint on Highway 29 eastbound. Target vehicle had passed Stanley already and complaint was passed on to Clark County.
