STANLEY POLICE Reports

February 20 12:54 p.m. Stanley Police were advised of a possible fire at a Stanley business. Officer responded and provided traffic assistance.

8:23 p.m.

Police conducted a traffic stop for non-reg istration. As a result of the stop Jeremiah Hetra, age 33 of Chippewa Falls, was arrested for fel- ony drug charges and cited for multiple traffic offenses. February 21 9:27 a.m. A city worker noticed tire tracks from a vehicle in the snow near the Chapman Park baseball field fence. The fence did not appear to be damaged, but a closer inspection will be completed in the spring. Pictures taken for documentation.

February 22 2:05 a.m. Police responded to an alarm at the Family Dollar, which turned out to be false. The key holder responded to reset the alarm.

12:33 p.m. A semi tractor trailer was stopped in the lane of traffic. Upon contact the operator was look ing for directions on his phone. He was advised to get out of the road and find a safe place to continue. February 23 8:00 a.m. Stanley Police stopped a vehicle for a moving violation. The operator Lauren Krajacic, age 42, was cited for no proof of insurance.

3:09 p.m. Stanley Police stopped a vehicle for a moving violation. The operator Rodney Shilts, age 45, was cited for no proof of insurance.

7:44 p.m. Police were requested for a traffic complaint on State Highway 29.

February 24 12:16 a.m.

The nose of Stanley K9 Officer Trey was re quested to perform a vehicle sniff for the Lake Hallie Police Department.

11:20 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for an animal nuisance complaint. Incident documented.

12:11 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a disabled vehicle on State Highway 29. Upon arrival the vehicle was being loaded onto a wrecker. Vehicle was removed without incident.

9:55p.m. Police were requested for damage to a stop sign.

February 25 12:20 a.m.

Police requested for a vehicle lockout. 4:31 a.m. Stanley Police were requested to assist the Clark County Sheriff's Office with a traffic stop in Thorp.

10:23 a.m. Staff at Citizen State Bank requested a check on a vehicle which was parked in front of a business. Vehicle was checked and no one was located inside the vehicle.

1:23 p.m. A traffic complaint was received. Report to follow. 5:11 p.m.

Lashanda Pecha, age 29, was cited under Stanley Ordinance violation for retail theft. Citation was mailed to her listed address.

February 26 4:35 p.m. Report of a woman slump over in a parked vehicle was made. Upon contact, the vehicle owner advised she was ok and playing a game online with her grandson. Nothing further.

4:48 p.m. Traffic stop was made for a moving viola tion. Operator received a verbal warning for a speeding violation.

6:00 p.m. Stanley police were called to the Shell gas station for two women reportedly attempting to scam people and asking for cash. The women were gone on police arrival. Area businesses were checked but the women were not located.

February 27 9:04 a.m. Vehicle lockout reported. Lockout waiv- er forms was filled out and the vehicle was opened without incident. 10:54 a.m.

Vehicle escort was provided for the return of a Stanley-Boyd state wrestler.

4:17 p.m. A traffic stop was made for an object drag ging under a vehicle. It was determined to be part of the muffler cover.

4:30 p.m. EMS call was assigned but not needed. Nothing further.

8:27 p.m. Stanley Police were called to the 600 block of Park Avenue. Contact was made with a gentleman and he was advised to lower the volume of his TV. February 28 4:02 p.m. Fraud report was made by an unknown claimant.
