STANLEY POLICE Reports

January 28 2:35 p.m.

Fire alarm at unspecified location. Upon ar rival it was determined to be caused by heavy dust from grinding cement.

3:25 p.m. A check person call was made with regard to a woman deemed suspicious after asking the reporting party for gas money. The money was provided but the caller felt something wasn't right with the woman. Surveillance footage at Express mart was checked for any possible plate information. No other information was provided.

5:50 p.m.

Complaint was received of a barking dog. Resident at listed address was warned for the barking dogs and for not having his three dogs licensed. Follow up conducted on February 3.

7:01 p.m. Stanley police were called to assist with a civil stand by. The exchange took place in the 200 block of Helgerson Street between a man and woman. The exchange remained civil and both agreed to all items removed from the property.

January 29 9:32 a.m. A personal welfare check was requested of someone who was an online acquaintance. Contact was made at the residence and it was determined “to be an online scam.” 9:47 a.m.

Camper vs. parked vehicle accident on private property. Scene documented with pictures and information gathered. Reportable accident.

10:42 a.m. Nicole Lewallen was arrested for Domes tic Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Chippewa County Jail.

6:53 p.m. Police were called to the 600 block of Gilman Street for a young person out of control. Police remained on scene until the young person calmed down.

8:26 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to respond to the north side of town for a woman who was re- questing help for her alcohol addiction. Officer responded and the woman was transported to St.

Joseph's Hospital.
