Starting Friday there will be free live music in the beer tent by Crimson Theory from 8 p.m. to midnight, followed by the band Fully Loadid at 7 p.m. in the beer tent. Crimson Theory hails from Eleva, Wisconsin and was voted the best new band in the Chippewa Valley following a performance at the Phoenix Taproom andKitchen this year. They offer a dynamic mix of country and rock, bending old school favorites with fresh hits. With seven members including four vocalists, Crimson Theory brings a versatile and high energy performance to every stage.
Kicking off Saturday, the second annual bean bag tournament will be held. Sign up for the tournament is at noon, the tournament starting at 1 p.m. Contact Mouldy for more info at 715-829-9533.

Taking the stage Saturday night at Lotz Park, the band Fully Loadid will play at 7 p.m. in the beer tent. Fully Loadid is a hard rock/rock n’ roll band that plays around the Chippewa and Eau Claire area. The five member band was founded by Steve Korn in March of 2004. Now 21 years later, the goals of the band are to continually improve, learn the hottest songs, and impress the crowd. Come see them Saturday in Boyd.
As for Sunday, the parade line up will start at 10:30 a.m., with the parade itself at 1 p.m. Following the parade there will be a free petting zoo at Lotz Park.
Closing out the free music Sunday at Ringelspiel will be Virginia Steel, playing from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Virginia Steel is led by Victoria Shoemaker and Peter Phippen, combining years of performance, education, and enthusiasm to provide an inclusive high energy show that involves the audience from the moment of entry. Band members of Virginia Steel believe that music should bring people together and they strive to bring their passion to everyone they come across. In addition they are multi-instrumentalists as well. As such they can be found switching between multiple instruments during their performance, ranging from guitars and bass to saxophone, flutes, percussion, washboard, and even kazoo. Come see Virginia Steel Sunday, starting at 3 p.m. in Lotz Park.
A Free Boyd Bucks drawing will be held at 5 p.m., at which time parade winners will also be announced. Boyd Bucks drawing winners must be present to win.
