“We’re hoping by the first of October on all four of them,” Krizan said of when the project as a whole could be done. Whether that benchmark is met will depend on the next couple of weeks. So what goes into building a duplex like those on North Franklin now going up?
To those who’ve been watching, a lot!
First, there’s the staking out of the site. Then, there’s taking off the sod. Next, the foundation footings have to be poured, followed by the concrete base and the walls. As of the present, the two duplexes on the south side of the lot have partial roof completion, while those on the north end still need to be covered with a roof though the stick walls are up. It won’t be long until the duplexes at the old Dodge School site, are ready to have new residents.
Seen on the job site during construction are Ryan Ambramczak; Travis Krizan; Parker Krizan; and Corey Krizan.
