Sportsmans’ Club Brat Dinner at Community Center a success

Taking place Saturday, Feb. 17 in the Community Center building at Chapman Park, the Brat Dinner held by the Stanley Sportsmans’ Club was a success.

With upwards of 100 turning out for the Saturday event, the Club held a cash and 50/50 raffle as well. Tickets were also sold for a gun raffle, with the proceeds to go towards a trap shooting club for students at Stanley-Boyd. So far seven have signed up, with opportunity to register through March.

With food options both as a meal and a la carte, attendees had their choice of brat or hot dog, along with sauerkraut, mustard, and ketchup.

Those purchasing a meal were entered in a drawing for gift cards sponsored by area businesses, with a cash and raffle prize winners as well. Below are some of the prizes:

$100 - Rich Rosemeyer

$50 - Fr. Daniel Williams, Keepers Garage, Tyler Haas, Cody Northup, Al Brown, Sonny Wagner, Evan Colder, Dan Karlen, Levi Slowiak, Rolf Derouin, Jeff Trunkel, Pat Gorske.

50/50 winner was Brian Smasal.

The Club is planning a free Youth Expo coming April 27.
