Stanley Area Chamber’s Fall Business Social connects Community and Commerce

On October 22nd the Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce held its Fall Business Social at Debbie’s on Broadway, bringing together local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for an evening of networking and collaboration. The event, provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to connect, share ideas, and foster partnerships while enjoying delicious food and drinks provided by Debbie’s, known for its commitment to quality and service. The Chamber event highlighted the importance of supporting local businesses and encouraging collaboration among members. The Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce is not only a platform for networking but a way to promote growth in the Stanley business community and is committed to supporting current businesses while promoting economic growth in the region.
Attendees heard from area Chamber and business members including Charlie Walker of the Chippewa Economic Development Corporation who shared the success of the 2024 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days held in Cadott and discussed current trends, innovations for future businesses, and investing in the community. Walker outlined the strategy to advocate for city legislators to allocate funds for enhancing the water treatment system. “You just can’t ask the taxpayers to do it,” he stated. He emphasized the need for an “infrastructure fund” to support local improvements.
The event also featured discussions from business owners on upcoming events and programs designed to support the local community. Ben Goettl entertained guests at the Chamber event with his guitar and vocals, creating an engaging and lighthearted atmosphere with his music.
Attendees left on Tuesday evening with new connections, fresh ideas, and a renewed sense of community.
