Stanley-Boyd and other area students participated in All Conference Band and Choir at Loyal Jan. 18.
Arriving in the morning, the 6 p.m concert followed a day of hard work. Performing at All Conference for Stanley-Boyd were choir students Alexis Baughman, Cassidy Kodl, Chloe Isenberger, Grace Schmitt, Caroline Johnson, Sydney Gundlach, Ezekiel Czubakowski, Landen Fredrickson, Carter Isenberger, and Seth Zastrow, as well as band students Adeline Peterson, Kira Lato, Landon Allen and Mykel Wirtala.
Starting out the performance, All Conference band students under the direction of Dr. Kirt Saville played three songs, including "Joy Revisited" by Frank Ticheli, "Elements" by Brian Balmages, and "Cafe 512."
"Elements" was played in two parts, one titled "Air" and the other "Water."
Following the band student’s performance, All Conference Choir students led by Dr. Mattheus Cruz of UW-Stevens Point treated concertgoers to three songs of their own: "I Sing Because I'm Happy" as arranged by Kenneth Paden, "For The Beauty Of The Earth" by John Rutter, and "Muié Rendrâ," as arranged by Mattheus Cruz.
The All Conference performance finished out with a combined band and choir performance of "From Sea to Shining Sea" by Samuel A. Ward, as arranged by Whitney & Wagner.
