The Stanley Community Association is having our first Light Up The City event. It is a holiday decorating competition. Our goal is to help promote community engagement and help spread holiday spirit.
There is a residential category for homeowners and a business category. Anyone and any business with a Stanley address is eligible to participate. There is no fee to participate. The residential winner will get a yard sign saying “2021 Light Up The City” winner and the business will get a window cling saying the same thing. Of course they will also get bragging rights.
Anyone who wants to sign up can do so on our Facebook page or on our website stanleycommunity. us under the events tab. Deadline to sign up is 12/3.
Community members will be able to vote for their favorites displays 12/18-12/20. Voting will also be on our Facebook page and website. There will be more information on voting after the 12/3 deadline.
