With the release of another round of school district report cards from the Department of Public Instruction, Stanley-Boyd Area Schools continues to Meet or Exceed state expectations in all of its schools.
Over the past two decades, the Stanley-Boyd Area School District has undergone an incredible transformation, reaching unparalleled success and consistently climbing the ranks of school districts in our area. In 2002, we were at the bottom of the list, ranked 30th out of 30. Through dedicated efforts and a commitment to academic improvement, our achievement scores changed dramatically. By 2008, we had catapulted to the 4th position, and the following years witnessed an impressive journey towards the top. The years 2018 and 2019 marked substantial milestones as we claimed the 1st position in our CESA. Although the journey has seen minor fluctuations, our overall trend is one of excellence. As of 2023, we are currently ranked 2nd in achievement within our CESA, a testament to our dedication to providing a high-quality education for our students. Our school district continues to be recognized as one of the premier educational institutions in the area, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing an outstanding learning environment for many years to come.
The state report cards for Stanley-Boyd Area Schools also show the understanding that school is more than just test scores. The district report card shows our school district has a substantially higher participation rate than the state average in the arts, music, and dual enrollment classes with Chippewa Valley Technical College. Although not noted on the report card, our school district also has a very strong drama department with large participation in summer theatre and our school play.
The Stanley-Boyd Area School District has the mission that All students will learn at a high level while becoming college and career-ready. Our goal is to prepare students for whatever career path they choose. As demonstrated by the most recent report card data, the district continues to excel.
