Storm Tiry, Cole Brenner recognized for All State Football

Two Stanley-Boyd seniors have been recognized for their football skills in a luncheon at Lambeau Field.
Storm Tiry and Cole Brenner were recognized Sunday, February 2 at the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) All-State Banquet in the Lambeau Field Atrium. Tiry was named to All State as a defensive lineman while Brenner made the list as a defensive back. Tiry’s college recruitment profile on NCSA Sports lists a bench press of 315 and squat lift weight of 495, giving him formidable strength on the field. Brenner was previously named the Cloverbelt Conference’s 2024 defensive player of the year. Both made first team All Conference prior to being named to All State. Tiry and Brenner were individually honored following a formal luncheon with over 500 attendees.
Former head coach Jeff Koenig congratulated Tiry and Brenner on their achievement.
“Congratulations to Cole and Storm!” He said Sunday. “Today they received their All State football award at Lambeau Field.”
2024 Orioles assistant coach and now incoming head coach Brody Mahr shared more on Tiry and Brenner’s achievement.
“Earning All-State recognition is a prestigious achievement,” Mahr said. “To qualify, players must first be selected to the All-Region Team, after which WFCA committee members vote to determine the All-State honorees.”
“Both Storm and Cole were highly deserving of this distinction. Storm was a dominant presence on the defensive line, consistently disrupting opposing offenses and forcing teams to adjust their game plans. Cole excelled in the secondary, leading the state in interceptions while also topping his team in tackles.”
“Looking ahead, Storm will continue his football career at Minnesota State University, Mankato, while Cole will take the field for UW-Eau Claire.”
