Stanley, WI—The Homeplace of Stanley proudly hosted its very first Senior Prom, a joyful and heartwarming event designed to bring tenants, residents, families, and staff together for an evening of music, dancing, and cherished memories.
Held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, the Senior Prom transformed The Homeplace into an elegant and festive venue where tenants and residents relived the magic of prom night—or, for some, experienced it for the very first time.
The evening featured music, light refreshments, beautiful decorations, and plenty of opportunities to dance and celebrate.
“This event is all about creating meaningful moments and celebrating the vibrant lives of our tenants and residents,” said Stephanie Zahara, RN and Community Director. Assistant Director Becca Baker added, “Prom is such a special tradition, and we’re excited to offer this experience in a way that is fun, inclusive, and full of joy.”
Both directors expressed their appreciation for the entire team, whose efforts—from planning through execution—helped make the event a success!
Tenants and residents dressed in their finest attire, with some wearing formal gowns and suits, while others chose outfits that made them feel their best. Family members and loved ones also joined in the celebration, adding to the evening’s warmth and sense of community.
The Homeplace of Stanley remains dedicated to providing engaging activities that foster connection, dignity, and happiness for every tenant and resident. The Senior Prom is just one of many ways the community continues to create meaningful and enriching experiences.
