Down at the Stanley Community Center, the Stanley Community Center had tables lined with clothing, in addition to many other items, not least of which were the sweets, from 50 cents to a dollar a piece.
Over in Boyd, meanwhile, sales abounded from North Oshkosh into town, with one sale having old college textbooks for 25 cents a piece–learning on the cheap!
Later that night the Street Dance and Corn Feed kicked off at Boyd, with good attendance. This after a somewhat subdued party last year due to covid.
Last but not least, Team Aubree held their first annual Softball tournament at Lotz Park, with opposing teams having fun and occasionally seen congratulating each other on a good play by the other.
Kristi Weiland of the Stanley Community Assocation (SCA) stands in front of some of the things offered last week down at the Community Center. The SCA was number one on the Thrift Sale maps.
