LETTER to the Editor
Man pays tribute to past educators
Dear Editor: I am writing in regard to Mr. Dodge, who was a teacher, educator, and superintendent at the old high school. Many others have walked the hallways to class before the bell. And to the teachers to whom we owe a huge debt of gratitude and also homage and honor, plus considerable respect.
From so long ago, like the ones that came before and yet hold so dear, like the names and memory of Art Zier; Wayne Qualheim, and Joyce Samuelson. These gave their time to teach students to read, write, and to provide a better way of life and yet become a better person, like myself. Thank you.
And furthermore can you think of more teachers out there that took the time and effort to teach? I can think of some more like Dorothy Schneider at Cadott and Don Hauser at Fall Creek where I went to become a better person.
We should pay homage, honor, and gratitude to the teachers who gave it their all. As a former student I thank you.
Thank you, Frank Thill
