The second annual ‘Reclaim the Magic’ event will be held Sunday, Dec. 15 from 4-6 p.m. in the Chapman Park Community building. Organized by Reclaimed Tavern owner Tom Larson, the event will offer presents to 250 kids under the age of 14. Money for the gifts was raised with 25 cents of every dollar from food and beverage orders at Reclaimed, through donations from patrons and with a generous contribution from Larson. Nearly $4,000 was raised in total to help spread Christmas cheer. The event promises a night of holiday magic, with Santa and Mrs. Claus with some of their elves on hand. In addition to gifts, there will be free hot chocolate and cookies, and families can take a hayride through the park, which is decorated for Christmas. Larson is pictured above with some of the gifts that have been purchased for the event.
